Prepared Minds, Prepared Places: Post Secondary Access in the Global Village

Community, institutional and corporate leaders, visionaries, educators, practitioners, policy-makers and concerned citizens, from the not-for-profit, voluntary, private and public sectors are invited to register for the Inaugural Conference of the YMCA-led Canadian Post-Secondary Access Partnership.
- Exchange approaches to building strategies and initiatives that link education, economic and community development objectives.
- Find out how your community can take up the Community Access Challenge.
- Share innovative practices for inspiring and preparing youth and adults for post-secondary studies, engaging students in their own success, mobilizing partners and measuring outcomes.
- Network with other organizations with common objectives from across Canada and internationally
- Find out how your organization can get involved in the Canadian Post-Secondary Access Partnership.
Initiatives that serve Aboriginal youth and adults, those from lower-income households, cultural and ethnic groups that remain underrepresented at the post-secondary level, and other “first-generation” students, will be the focus of keynotes, panels, parallel presentations, workshops and a Best Practices Gallery.
